Entry Level Driver Training Course
FMCSA has established minimum training standards for individuals applying for their commercial driver’s license (CDL) for the first time. These individuals are subject to the entry-level driver training (ELDT) requirements and must complete a prescribed program of instruction provided by an approved training provider listed on FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry (TPR). This course is intended to meet all theory (knowledge) requirements listed in the federal regulation 49 CFR Part 380, Special Training Requirements, and includes Sections covering Basic Operation, Safe Operating Procedures, Advanced Operating Practices, Vehicle Systems and Reporting Malfunctions, and Non-Driving Activities.
We offer in person training, as well as a self paced online curriculum that is designed to be fully immersive. We are starting to see many companies offering ELDT for very little, or even free. Those programs allow you to skip through the learning materials, and the answers to the quiz questions are built right into the quiz. If you are taking your personal career seriously, or you want to ensure the safety of your drivers and reduce liability on your company, you can rest assured that our courses will set you up for success. We provide each student a certificate of completion in accordance with the FMCSA guidelines.
